Frontline Source Group – temporary staffing and direct hire firm – is looking for a Quality Control Document Specialist for our West Houston, TX client for a Direct Hire opportunity.
Our client, a well-established Nondestructive testing company is in need of a Quality Control Document Specialist. This client has been in business for over 30 years, has a very low turnover rate and offers an excellent benefits package. They also offer a 401k match of up to 5%.
Description:
This position plays a very important role for the organization by checking purchase orders to make sure that all of the proper testing has been done on customer products. They will also:
Work closely with the Quality Manager and the shipping and receiving department
Search PO for description of parts, what types of testing were to be performed, and verify serial numbers on the parts
Will assist with putting together documentation manuals
Skills need to be successful in this job:
2+ years of experience in a similar role
HS Diploma or greater
Oil related experience, especially in the NDT or NDE field is highly preferred
ISO:9001 experience
Strong computer skills, including Intermediate or higher skills with both Excel and Word
Ability to download documentation to a flash/USB drive
Previous experience with shipping or receiving would be beneficial as well
The most important aspect of the job is being detail oriented and precise on the documentation
